Densetec Utility Board is a more
economical and lighter weight alternative to regular Densetec HDPE products.
Ideally suited to applications where colour and UV stability are not a
priority.
Densetec Utility Board is often
used in the construction of skate ramps as a noise reduction under-layer
beneath the steel or timber skating surface and for seat backs, truck and
trailer floors. Densetec Utility Board is also increasing used in the
construction of seat backs for upholstery because it is easy to staple and
upholster like plywood, but unlike plywood Utility Board will not rot, crack
or delaminate like plywood can.
Densetec Utility Board does not
splinter, crack, delaminate, rot or absorb water. It has the ability to form
curves and bends and is also easy to machine using standard woodworking
tools.
