This attractive
range of planters has been designed in 2-tone recycled
plastic to compliment the new Fahr bench ranges. These
standard planter boxes are constructed using 40mm thick
recycled plastic planks and are screwed together using
stainless steel fasteners. They are supplied without a base,
but can be specified in special sizes and with bases if
required.
Most of the recycled materials
used by Fahr Industries are manufactured from post consumer
waste (PCR), including HDPE milk and detergent bottles that
could have otherwise gone into landfill sites. This PCR
material is subject to various processing cycles which
include a thorough cleaning and grinding before being
remanufactured into the high quality materials used to make
Fahr products.
To help you visualize the
amount of PCR waste that has been diverted from landfill
Fahr has calculated the equivalent quantity of milk bottles
it would take to manufacture many of their products - look
out for the milk bottles. |
